Road Projects: Governor Adeleke Is Opening Doors For Economic Prosperity For Osun - Hon. Adewale



Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Road, Hon. Adedayo Samson Adewale, has described the ongoing massive road projects across Osun State as unprecedented.



Speaking with newsmen in Osogbo on Thursday, Adewale said that Governor Adeleke has opened the door for economic prosperity for the state which generations to come shall benefit from. 

According to him, even with the already completed roads executed by the Adeleke led administration, Osun residents are already feeling the impact in terms of easy access roads and outright removal of gridlocks in urban cities.

He noted that when all the ongoing road projects are completed, it will open up Osun and boost investments in all economic sectors adding that Osun as an agrarian state will enjoy easy transportation of agric proceed that will reduce cost of food items.

He commended Governor Adeleke for the  completion of the uncompleted road projects embarked on by his predecessors adding that even without obtaining a kobo as loan, Adeleke has invested his everything including his security votes for the speedy development of the state.

Hon. Adewale, who aligned with the engagement of Osun State transport management service, (OSTMS), by the Adeleke led administration against the NURTW, described it as the best way to go considering its economic benefits to the state.

According to him, while various transport unions, especially the NURTW makes their returns largely to the covers of the federal government, OSTMS on the other hand helps in boosting the internally generated revenue of the state.

“Since we suspended the operation of NURTW, it has improved the state IGR. The transport ministry is very important to the state afterall”, Adewale contended.
