Today marks a momentous occasion as we celebrate the retirement of our beloved father, Fisayo Oyetunji Bamigboye, after 35 years of dedicated service in the civil service, from August 21, 1989, to August 21, 2024. Born over five decades ago in Osogbo, Osun State, Fisayo Bamigboye hails from Ìgbájo in Boluwaduro Local Government, Osun State.
His journey in the civil service began in 1989 when he joined the Public Complaint Commission (Ombudsman) in the then Oyo State. In early 1994, he was transferred to Osun State, where he continued to serve with unwavering commitment until his retirement today.
A devoted husband to Mrs. Lydia Funke Bamigboye (née Otuyelu), their union is blessed with both sons and daughters, to the glory of God. Fisayo Oyetunji Bamigboye is not only a dedicated civil servant but also a fervent lover of God. His service to the church is exemplary, having held various positions over the years, including Choir Organist, Church Secretary, Treasurer, Men's Missionary Union (MMU) Secretary, Youth President, and Youth Secretary of Old Zion 1. His contributions to the Alafia Oluwa Baptist Church in Osogbo have left a lasting impact on the community.
We also celebrate his passion for education, as he worked tirelessly to provide the best for his children. Even after his retirement, his commitment to education continues, a testament to his enduring dedication.
As we prepare to gather this December for a special thanksgiving service to celebrate God's goodness, we also take this moment to express our gratitude to the staff of the Public Complaint Commission (PCC) for their support and efforts in honoring our dad today.
Congratulations once again, sir, on this well-deserved retirement. Your legacy of service, faith, and love will continue to inspire us all.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Mayowa Bamigboye Mayowa Sunday
For the Family, Siblings, and Well-Wishers.
