Indigenes of Odo-Otin Local Government in Osun state have hailed Governor Gboyega Oyetola over the inclusion of their son, Engr. Felix Ibitoye Kilomodemo popularly known as KLM in the cabinet list forwarded to the house of assembly.
They said with the nomination and other which cut across the various local governments in the state , the governor has made good one his major promises of running an all inclusive government during his campaign.
A leader in the local government, Chief Adepoju Odusola, commended the governor for allowing each local government to pick their nominees ,saying this would further strength the believe of the people in his administration.
Describing the nominee, Odusola who is a leader of the ruling party said KLM's qualifications and experience is an asset to the state.
He stated that based on this no fewer than 30 elders from the wards, 35 state executives, women and youth leaders all endorsed his nomination.
Also, Alhaji Jimoh Aasa, said KLM being an hardworking man and full of innovative ideas deserves to be in Oyetola's cabinet.
Aasa who is the APC Chairman, Odo-Otin Local Government (Ward 06, Agbeye/Oore) described KLM as a loyal party man with the interest of his people at heart.
He said, "We are not surprised because Hon. Adeniran Felix Ibitoye KLM is a virtuous person because he decided to relate with the elders. He is a seasoned politician who has schooled himself in the arts of politics and obeying the laid down rules of the party.
"Before his nomination, the role he had been playing is a testimony for everybody to see.
These were all what we thought about when the decision was reached on whom to present as our own candidate from Odo-Otin Local Government.
"He also has a good relationship with the governor and people in the current administration. In fact, we also discovered that the governor is his mentor.
So we the elders and members of the party decided after the whole process to present him as our own bonafide candidate for the governor's list of nominees.
We also thank our governor for allowing the people to choose their candidates of choice for membership of his cabinet. For this, we have decided to be good disciples of Mr. Governor."
Ilyas Wahab Oladele, APC leader Faji/Opete (Ward 04, Faji/Opete) from his ward said he could vouch for KLM and assured the people of the state and local government that he would not betray the truth reposed in him.
