...PDP GENERATION NEXT program for youth
The People's Democratic Party, PDP formal youth leader has said in the party meeting with National Working Committee on Wednesday at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja that Nigeria needs PDP to return to power in 2019.
Hon Abdullahi Maibasira, who was the PDP National Financial Secretary and immediate past National Youth Leader of the party.
He disclosed this at Meeting of National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, members of National Working Committee and Youth Leaders.
Maibasira while speaking at the meeting said, Any nation in the world where the youths doesn't participate in the political development of the country is doomed
"Gen Yakubu Gowon was a youth that successfully presided over the affairs of Nigeria until the end of the war"
"Unless youths come out and volunteer themselves to make sacrifice they will not be noticed... May God forbid"
The country needs the youths and PDP is prepared to allow the youths to take their place in leadership
He disclosed that PDP have program called GENERATION NEXT to prepare the youths for future leadership of our party. . All party youths must be mentored and groomed.
Maibasira said; "Nigeria is in crises and this is the time we need the youths. APC is a threat to Nigeria's unity "
He continued "At 32 Yakubu Gowon fought hard for the unity of the country. Nigeria youths irrespective of party affiliation must join hands to rescue the country from APC doom"
